Kolden, Gaai, Ayden, and MaxGood Citizen of the Week - The Warrior Way in Action

Elementary Director, Trish Harren

Warroad High School and Elementary students are learning and practicing the Warrior Way.  The Warrior Way is demonstrating behavior that is respectful, responsible, and safe in school and in the community.   It is all part of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system, a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success.

Celebrating students who demonstrate the Warrior Way is part of this program.  Gaabi Cobiness, Ayden Gustafson, Max Casperson and Kolden Gustafson jointly earned this honor.  After some under class students messed up one of the boy’s bathrooms by plugging toilets and urinals and sinks and throwing paper towels and raisins all over the floor these four young men volunteered to clean it up.  It was an unexpected offer and an excellent example of leadership and good citizenship.

Congratulations Gaabi, Ayden, Max and Kolden.
