Congrats to Warbotics and LEGO the Woods

Advancing to State!
What a great day at Capital Hill Magnet School in St. Paul!  There were 45 teams that arrived at the sectional event, today.  There was lots of cheering, lots of LEGO robots, great costumes, and very supportive parents, grandparents, and friends. 

Warbotics and LEGO the Woods were in different divisions for competition. 
LEGO the Woods had the second highest robot score in their division:   
Brickblasters - 175
LEGO the Woods - 170
The Wolves - 155
The Dots - 150
Warbotics had the 4th highest robot score in their division: 
Cybernetic Crusaders - 250
The Brickstormers - 195
Cyber Hawks - 195
Warbotics - 190
Special Ops LEGO team - 130 

The overall score of each team is based on how they scored in:  1) robot run  2) core values 3) Project 4) Robot Design and Programming.  

Warbotics took 1st place in Core Values and 2nd place in the Head to Head, in their division

LEGO the Woods received a Judges award and also took 2nd place in Head to Head, in their division

Both Warbotics and LEGO the Woods will be moving on to STATE :)   The State LEGO league championship will be Saturday, Feb 24th at Washington Technology Magnet School in St. Paul.
